Renting a car can be quite a nightmare, but that was not the case with me. I was in Morocco recently, so I decided to rent a car in Casablanca to travel around the city and other nearby places at my own pace. So here’s an account in detail of my experience

I then drove to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, and imbued the scenic view along the Corniche. Having a car made this trip more delightful because of the flexibility.
Renting a car in Casablanca also gave me the opportunity for day trips to some of the many attractions around. One of the highlights was a visit to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, which is an hour’s drive from Casablanca. Owing to well-maintained highways, reaching there was pretty easy. I went to the Royal Palace, the Kasbah of the Udayas, and the Hassan Tower in Rabat. Another highly enjoyable day spent outside of Casablanca was the trip to the coastal town of El Jadida, famous for its Portuguese architecture and beautiful beaches.

Returning the Car
The return of the car was almost as smooth as the process of picking it up. The rental company arranged to collect the car from the hotel I was staying in at the end of the rental period.
